About Us
The Ottawa Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program has paired with the Ottawa Mission to put on meals for Ottawa’s most vulnerable residents. The initial meal will be served on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010 with subsequent meals being served on the third Wednesday of each month. Meals will be served at the Ottawa Mission, located at 35 Waller Street.
For the success of Ottawa Lawyers Feed the Hungry, we will be reaching out to the Ottawa legal community seeking financial donations and volunteers. Donations can be made online at the Lawyers Feed the Hungry website or by cheque payable to the Law Society Foundation, referencing the Ottawa Lawyers Feed the Hungry initiative, and mailed to 130 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5H 2N6. Charitable donation tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
